Episode Two: Post Punk Market

Episode Two: Post Punk Market

The inferior, yet far less violent, robot model AZ 2000 takes over hosting duties and recruits experimental filmmaker Scott Miller Berry to interpret and adapt a song by the potent forces behind post-punk band Pants & Tie.

Pants & Tie features the careening wild man vocals of Mark Colborne and the versatile multi-instrumentalism of Rory Hanchard. Check out their album Women’s Complaints on Bandcamp. If you are a woman and would like to lodge a real complaint please do so elsewhere.

Scott Miller Berry is an experimental filmmaker and former director of Toronto’s beloved and long-running Images Film Festival. Don’t let the experimental tag fool you though. His films can be anything from touching and funny to clever and provocative. His primary influences are Man Ray and the many television appearances by irrepressible Spanish-American actress/singer Charo.
